God's Promises for Girls {review}

As my girls get older, we're on the hunt for little devotions, short enough for a preschooler's attention span. (right now, we're lucky to have about 4 minutes :))

We've been so blessed by God's Promises for Girls, by Jack Countryman and Amy Parker. A perfect book that grows with your daughter or little girlie in your life. The book is divided into sections like "God Wants You To..." and "God's Promises about Making a Difference..." that each have little poems and Bible verses included. Here are some of my favorites:

God's Promises About... Serving Others

"Share a doll, show the new girl around,

Bake brownies and take them next door;

Serving and helping others in love

Is what God created you for!"

God's Promises When... You Are Happy

"Hooray! It's a wonderful day!

Picking daisies is oh, so fun...

There is always a reason to be happy,

When you're living for Jesus the Son!"

What a wonderful little book of treasures! What about the lovely boys in your life? Don't worry, the authors put together God's Promises for Boys too!! There's also a whole bunch of God's Promises books... I received a God's Promises for Graduates when I graduated, and it still offers me encouragement many years after the diploma!

Pick up a copy today! You won't be disappointed, and you might even find treasures for yourself!

"We know that in everything God works for the good of those who love him."
