Same Kind of Different as Me {review}

Wow. What an experience it was for me to read through this memoir by Denver Moore and Ron Hall. Same Kind of Different as Me will take you for a ride, that's for sure.

A story of a modern-day slave and a rich art dealer and how their lives intertwine is just the beginning of this amazing story of how all things do work together for good. I love how this book speaks from both men's point of views, and chronicles their lives up to when they meet face to face. Each man's voice is so distinct, and you really feel like you know their hearts by the end of the book. Although it has its share of tragedy, the book left me feeling that there is hope and good still very much in this world, and I want to be a part of it!

This book also touches on the issue of homelessness, and how our society typically views this "problem." It really shoes how much just one single person can make a difference... talk about inspiring!!

This is a super quick read, and a very heartwarming story to remind us all to challenge ourselves to talk to God, and yes, actually listen to hear our calling. Pick up a copy today!! (and share with friends, family, everyone!!)
