The Lavendar Tree {review+giveaway}

From pillows to decor, The Lavendar Tree takes wool sweaters, scarves, blankets, and more, and turns them into beauty!  There's something about upcycling and reusing that makes the creations even more pretty!!

{Fun felted coasters!}  Ann, the creator and green minded crafter behind The Lavendar Tree, and her creativity just spill out of her shop.  And each item is truly one of a kind!  Seriously, what Ann does with wool is pretty amazing!

Ah -- this too!  Everything in her shop has that vintage chic feel, like the moment you get it home you find the spot that's been waiting years for it.  You'll have to check out Ann's blog too, because you'll find all sorts of crafty goodness, inspiration, and lefse.  {So I'm pretty much all Norwegian, and this post about her and her sister's adventure to continue the family tradition was really sweet.  Memories of lefse making with my sisters and mom!  Plus, did you know that the lefse griddle company shares my name!  Any lefse loves out there??}

These wool peeps need to be adopted for an Easter basket!!  That's the beauty of The Lavendar Tree too -- that Ann's items are a cross between functional and beautiful.  Everything is so well made, they're for everyone to love, even the under 3 crowd!  And they come ready to gift, which is the ultimate for me!

Check out this this chickie that made her way to our house!!  We've been telling the story of the Little Red Hen, so "Henny" has become a permanent fixture to illustrate the importance of helping out, especially when we're making cookies!  :)  The Lavendar Tree's chickens have weight to them too, so Henny has been used on my desk, when I'm reading, and to hold a cookbook open!  She also has had probably unintended jobs too, like being a watchguard at a princess castle, eating dry rice, and going on walks with us.  I mean really, how can you not love this chicken?
