Illuminated Confections Candle Bakery {review & giveaway}

I'm so excited to introduce you all to a very sweet and unique Etsy shop! Illuminated Confections Candle Bakery sells candles shaped and scented like your favorite treats! Check out these yummy creations :)

Amanda from Illuminated Confections uses 100% pure soy wax and all natural hemp wicks in her candles. She also makes them freehand (can you believe that?) using whipped wax, only using molds for a few of the small details!

Amanda sent me a Pina Colada Cupcake Candle, Strawberry Cheesecake Soy Tart Bites, and Snickerdoodle Cookie Soy Tart Bites to review. Just opening the box was a treat. . . the candle and tarts smelled just delicious! All of Amanda's items are made with so much care and detail, they look almost edible :)

I started by burning a Strawberry Cheesecake Tart. I'm pretty picky about scents in my house, especially sweet ones, but the tart smelled true to the Strawberry Cheesecake name without being sugary and overpowering. I LOVE it! Even though it's been warming in my oil burner for about twenty hours over the past few days, it doesn't seem that any of the wax has burned away. I love knowing that this yummy scent will fill my house for a long time!

I've also burned the Pina Colada candle. . . another great scent! It was almost painful to light this pretty candle, but it was well worth it. It filled my house with the fresh, summery smell of pina colada. . . delicious!

I highly recommend purchasing at least a few of Amanda's creations! The cupcake candles would be a perfect accent to any birthday party and you need a margarita candle for your next outdoor gathering :) She is also happy to make custom orders.
