CareyLeigh007 {review+giveaway}

Yeah... gorgeous home goods and accessories by CareyLeigh007!

See what I mean?  I fell in love at first sight!  Distressed iron birds in every color of the rainbow, gorgeous shabby chic hooks, and even more goodies at the sister shop, Off the Hook!

IMG_0005

These sweet little birdies landed on my turquoise dresser first!  They come with the screws, so it's super easy to change out the knobs and create a whole new look!

Carey, the fab lady behind these two lovely shops, works hard to give you the best possible product.  She's an artist by trade, working with all sorts of mediums -- sewing, woodworking, iron -- you name it, she's probably created something lovely with it!

IMG_9987

 {the sweet aqua bird made its way to a different dresser in my home!}

Seriously, the possibilities are endless!  I just love the distressing on the birds and the vivid color.  They have a really nice matte finish, that doesn't chip, which echoes Carey's drive to perfecting her products!

Yes, I bet you want a flock too, now!  Carey has offered a set of 4 bird knobs in the color of the winner's choice from CareyLeigh007!  Yay!!

At the National Coalition Against Domestic Violence site I learned that Domestic Violence Awareness Month evolved from the first Day of Unity observed in October, 1981 by the National Coalition Against Domestic Violence. The intent was to connect battered women’s advocates across the nation who were working to end violence against women and their children. The Day of Unity soon became a special week when a range of activities were conducted at the local, state, and national levels.
