Spring cleaning checklists

I'm always looking for ways to be more organized, and checklists are right up my alley when it comes to big projects like spring cleaning!

Thankfully, I'm not the first person in the world to tackle spring cleaning.  Head on over to Blissfully Ever After for an awesome spring cleaning challenge complete with tips, checklists, and lots of great organizational ideas!

I'm also super excited about a big Spring Cleaning Challenge hosted by iDreamofClean.net, it's easy to participate, plus you'll get lots of great info along the way!  Oh, and you have a chance to win some super cool prizes.  I could really get into cleaning my house for that! :)

And of course, the original housekeeper of the century Martha Stewart has an abundance of checklists, tips, and more to get you all squared away!

My spring cleaning plan of attack:
1.  Declutter and deep clean one room per day.  {Easier to clean with less stuff!}
2.  Organize boxes to giveaway, sell, and throw, and mark everything that will be in the garage sale this May.
3.  Involve my kids, they love to help!
4.  Green my spring cleaning routine.  {post of details to follow!  I'm so excited about this!}

What is your spring cleaning plan of attack?

  1. Hi! I found your blog via the challenge linky! I have to say, I love your blog design! It's so simple and lovely. I'm in the middle of spring cleaning too. My plan of attack is to focus on one room at a time like you, although it may take me longer than a day for each!

  2. I agree with Jo about your blog design :) Love it!

    Great idea to focus on one room at a time. Focus is such a key with this kind of thing...which is hard to do with the kiddos sometimes, right? :)

    Thank you so much for linking to the challenge and good luck on the prizes!

  3. Spring cleaning has always been one of the worst activities for me. This year I printed complete list with spring cleaning tips and was surprised that this actually helped not to have my nerves wrecked. I found notion about the challenge much hilarious. I am sure I could be a serious rival now, with all the tips and tricks I learned! I have also fallen in love with homemade glass cleaner, and other own recipes. Surprising how one can make own cleaning products, that can easily beat commercial brands.
